1. What types of products do you sell?
Our products include personalized photo montage prints, available in both digital and traditional double mat. Currently, we do not offer framed photo prints of individual images, but we have plans to offer single image framed prints soon. Each product featured in our online store is reproduced from the original photograph, digital file, or negative using advanced technology. After you have designed your photo montage, our team of experienced professionals bring your creation to life through image treatment (as needed on uploaded photos), reproduction, frame assembly and shipping.
2. What is a personalized photo montage print?
We offer customers up to six professionally designed photo montage templates to choose from. Each montage template has between five and eight available slots for you to arrange photos into a personalized design that most accurately reflects your memories and artistic style. You can choose from the high quality photos available from our store, or upload your own photos, or combine photos from both sources.
Photo montage prints come in three sizes: 12"x18", 16"x24" and 20"x30". When you purchase a photo montage print, your image will be printed on high-quality stock with archival ink and UV protection. This ensures the appropriate environment to preserve your photograph for many years of enjoyment. Personalized Montage prints ship in 5-7 business days after sale.
3. What is the difference between a Personalized Framed Photo Montage with digital mat and one with traditional double mat?
When framing is ordered along with your Personalized Photo Montage, we offer you two mat options to choose from. The first option utilizes state-of-the-art graphic design software to create a beautiful, yet virtual, double mat that surrounds your personalized photo montage. Once you’ve hung your Alumni Memories montage in a place of honor in your home or office, the appearance of virtual double mat is so close to the look of traditional cut mat board that it even fools professional photographers. And for those customers who do prefer the timeless look of traditional mat, we offer custom acid-free double 2 1/2 " mat with a beveled edge.
Both the virtual and traditional double mat options can be matched with a variety of premium wood frames. Our professional designers have selected several frame styles and colors for you to choose from including traditional black, cherry, walnut, and collegiate gold or silver.
All Alumni Memories framed montage prints come with acid-free plexiglass that offers durable, lightweight protection for your art that will preserve the original beauty of your photo montage design for years and years. All personalized framed montage prints ship 5-7 business days after purchase.
4. What are the final dimensions of your personalized framed photo montage?

5. Does the image on your site accurately represent what I will be sent?
Each image has been captured by a professional photographer and is reproduced from an original photograph, digital file or negative using advanced technology. However, we cannot guarantee that the printed product will accurately reflect the color settings of your monitor or mobile device. All proportions are accurate on the website, but the scale of certain products on the website may not match real life measurements. This allows us the flexibility to display larger montage templates on the website for customers to preview and select for their personalized design.
6. I have noticed the Alumni Memories logo appears on your online photos. Why is it on the photography?
You are referring to a "watermark" that has been placed on the photos you see on our site to ensure that no one downloads the images without permission or pirates the photos without proper authorization. Please be assured that this marking will not be on photography products purchased from the store.
7. Can a color photo be converted to black & white or sepia?
We are not currently offering this option. If you would like us to consider adding this feature to future versions of the website, please send your request to care@alumnimemories.com.
8. Can I purchase the digital file instead of ordering a print copy of the picture?
Per the license agreements we have in place with each organization and photographer, we are unable to sell or distribute digital files at this time.
1. What if I can't find the school I am looking for?
Alumni Memories is constantly adding new schools, colleges and universities to our inventory. If your school is not currently available, we’d love your assistance in helping to add them to the Alumni Memories family. There are several ways you can help us add your alma mater to our store. Simply send your school an email introducing them to the Alumni Memories store and include this link www.alumnimemories/get-started.
This section of our website will provide your alma mater with all of the information they need to complete the on boarding process to join our growing list of participating schools. Or, simply ask your school to give us a call at 877-915-9915. Finally, if you’d like us to contact them, simply send us an email with the following information:
- Your name and email address
- The name and address (city and state is fine) of the school you’d like us to contact
- If there is someone in particular at the school you would recommend we speak with, please tell us their name, title (e.g. Director of Alumni Relations) phone number and email address if you have them
- Your connection to the school – alumni, current student, parent, faculty, etc.
2. What if I can't find the photo I am looking for?
Alumni Memories is always adding new photos to our inventory. However, if there is a particular photo of your school - either an external shot of a building or section of the campus or an interior shot within an academic building or sports facility - that you would like to include in your personalized photo montage, please contact us at info@alumnimemories.com. We’ll do our best to try to find the image you’ve requested and add it to the image library for that particular institution.
3. Do you offer a catalog?
No. We do not currently offer a mail-order catalog. To view all the products and montage designs we offer, please visit alumnimemories.com
4. How do I know my order was processed?
You will receive an order confirmation via email within a few moments of submitting your order on the website. This email will include an itemized receipt as well as an order confirmation number for you to reference in the future if needed.
5. How do I change or cancel an order?
We do our level best to accommodate any changes to an order as long as you contact us before we put your montage design into production. So it’s very important that you contact us as soon as possible to let us know about the change you would like to make. Please contact us at orders@alumnimemories.com or call 877-915-9915 within 24 hours of your purchase to modify an existing order. After 24 hours from the time of sale, we cannot honor requests for changes to the montage order you submitted for processing at the time of purchase.
6. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, Discover, American Express and MasterCard. We currently do not accept check or money order.
7. Can I place an order over the telephone?
Not at this time. For your convenience and fastest possible service, we encourage you to order online.
8. What types of digital photos can I upload to the website and what is the minimum file size your designers can work with?
While modern photo editing software can work minor miracles helping to sharpen up low resolution digital photos, we at Alumni Memories recommend the following minimum standards for your uploaded photos:
- 1000 pixel x 1000 pixel image, in 4x5 ratio taken at 300dpi. A photo taken under these conditions will usually result in file size of 1.8MB or higher, which is about the file size produced by today’s iPhone or Android smartphone cameras.
- To be on the safe side and ensure your uploaded photos will match the high quality, crisp presentation of the stock images of schools and other institutions found on alumnimemories.com, Alumni Memories recommends file sizes no less than 2MB and no more than 50MB

2. How much does shipping cost?
Alumni Memories is waiving shipping costs for all orders shipped to destinations in the continental US until 12/31/15. Orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, and internationally will be charged standard Fedex shipping rates to those destinations.
3. How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your order has shipped. This will provide tracking information so that you may monitor its progress. If you need your order for a special event, please send us an email to orders@alumnimemories.com. We'll do our very best to get your order where you need it, when you need it.
4. When will my order arrive?
Photographic montage prints usually ship in 5-7 business days after sale. Personalized framed photo montages usually ship within 7-10 business days.
5. Can I track the shipment of my order?
Yes. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your order has shipped. This will provide tracking information so that you may monitor its progress.
6. I didn't receive my entire order. What happened?
Depending on the products you purchase, items in your order may be received in separate shipments. We work with the best production fulfillment groups in various locations. If you have only received part of your order, be assured that your additional items are on their way.
7. Do you ship internationally?
Alumni Memories ships orders to addresses in the U.S. and Canada using standard Fedex or USPS shipping rates. We are unable to ship to international addresses at this time.
1. Return & Exchange Policies
Due to the highly personalized nature of nearly all Alumni Memories products, we will not accept returns of any personalized products which cannot be resold to the general public. Our highly experienced graphic designers and framing experts will work closely with you to ensure that your photo montage design is exactly the way you wish it to appear before we put your design into production and ship it.
Damaged or defective products can be returned for a full refund or an exchange provided the item is returned within thirty (30) days from date of shipment in the original box and packaging the products was delivered in. Refunds for damaged or defective items returned more than thirty (30) calendar days after the date of receipt will be in the form of a credit redeemable on your next purchase.
If you wish to return or exchange an item after receipt that has been damaged or is defective, place the product in its original box and packaging and return it to us at the address below:

If you do not have the original packaging, please take the item your local packaging store to assure the product is properly packed for shipment back to us. Please be certain to include the following information:
- Name
- Address
- Item being returned
- Telephone Number
- Alumni Memories Order Number
- Whether you would like a new product produced with the same original design, personalization, etc., which would be mailed back to you, or a refund to your credit card (if received within 30 days of the original order date).
Once your returned product is received and we have verified that the product has been damaged or is defective, we will issue a credit within 10 business days. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.

Alumni Memories utilizes a secure server in all the transactions that hold sensitive information. A secure server guarantees the privacy of data transmitted through the Internet, including credit card information, through an SSL protocol that encrypts the information.
